Editor's Note: Microgaming has pulled the licenses of all Tropika casinos, including Fairplay African Casino. For more details, read the official press release.
Maybe it's just me, but I love the African theme at Fairplay African Casino.
Fairplay is one of 11 online casinos operated by Tropika International Ltd, a Canadian e-commerce company based in Toronto. For the curious, the others are Jetset, Magic Carpet, Astrobet, Atlantis Star, Aztec Gold, Flying Dragon, Iceberg, Orient-Express, Bulls 'n Bears and Old Glory.
Unlike many online casinos that give you virtually no information then expect you to pull out your credit card, Fairplay gives extensive details on their rules and policies so you know exactly what to expect. Take "Money Matters," for example. Fairplay's fair money policies include no charges for most cash transactions, a $20 bonus on incoming wires and optional use of your Infinia Debit Card.
Add to this an IGC membership and a license in Dominica and Fairplay looks to be living up to their name. (I would like to see audited payout reports available at their website, however.)
Fairplay and the other Tropika casinos use MicroGaming software so you get a wide range of solid though not exceptional games, including access to the CashSplash progressive slot machine, which was ticking around 78 grand when I played earlier today.
Fairplay's Jacks or Better Video Poker is a 9/6 machine with a 4000 royal. Not full pay but close offering a theoretical payout of about 99.5%.
I always complain about MicroGaming's Blackjack and will do so again. The cards are dealt far too slowly. I also noticed this time that I couldn't double on soft 17 against a 5. Bummer.
The Craps table allows 1x free odds.
Now to the important stuff: MONEY! I deposited a hundred bucks, received a 20% new player bonus, played a bit of everything and cashed out a little over 200. Not a bad way to spend an hour. I'll be back.
