Tom 'Durr' Dwan Joins Full Tilt
15 Nov 09
Tom 'Durrrr' Dwan has joined the ranks of some of the most respected poker players in the world, by announcing his allegiance to online poker site, Full Tilt Poker. He is now part of their team of Full Tilt Pros, which includes names like Mike Matusow, Patrik Antonious, Phil Ivey, Howard Lederer and John Juanda. Patrik Antonious was the last pro to join the Full Tilt, and is also the only other young online player to join the stable of relatively older old school poker players.

Tom Dwan is known through the poker world as one of the best online cash game poker players in the world. He routinely wins millions of dollars and can also take hits of millions of dollars in the highest stakes of poker around the world. He has also moved off the online felt on to the live felt and played in high stakes poker games on TV and against other live players to show that his skills are transferable to both online and live poker.

Tom Dwan rose to the spotlight this year when he issued the challenge of $1 million dollars to any poker pro who could defeat him in a high volume series of heads up poker hands. The only pro to decide to take him on is Patrik Antonious, with the battle still continuing on.
