Tiffany and Maria Hanging On
14 Oct 09
Tiffany Michelle and Maria Ho have managed to save themselves from elimination in the latest episode of the CBS reality series of ‘The Amazing Race’. Although they finished last in the leg, another team managed to lose their passports, saving the poker pair from elimination. Tiffany and Maria have the tags of last women standing at the World Series of Poker from 2008 and 2007 respectively and are the current ambassadors for female poker players on the show.

Tiffany and Maria’s performance on the show has been dubious with the pair managing the finish last on two occasions and avoiding elimination. Rather than portray poker players as grinding, mentally strong athletes, the pair have looked rather amateur and comical making poker look more like a social game rather than a professional competition.

Tiffany and Maria, although up for debate at any time of day, happen to be the more easier on the eye female players of the poker world. They have had impressive results and are respected all around the world. Hopefully their next performances on the show can reflect their poker world statue and elevate the game just a little further and save it from being eliminated from ‘The Amazing Race’
