The much anticipated nude picture of poker legends Phil Helmuth, Soctty Nguyen, Daniel Negreanu and Jennifer Harman has finally surfaced on the internet. A lot of talk before the release had occurred on all the poker forums and also on all the poker news site of the impending shot of the topless players.
Now that the picture has been released there really is not that much to talk about any more. The photo is not exactly raunchy in anyway, and features just four regular people at the poker table. The only thing that is of concern is the size of Phil Helmuth’s chest that seems like the guy is playing too much poker and really needs to exercise more. The other three look like they are in great shape or have received a lot of photoshop.
The idea of picture is to profile the poker players as athletes. Other sports in the magazine include boxing, golf, basketball, hockey, etc so to place poker players amongst the other athletes is a great lift for the game. Poker players have to mentally work very hard, make good money and have very strong mental toughness. Not all athletes have excellent toned bodies, you do not often see front cover shot putters or equestrian riders, but for once the poker player has made the front cover of a sports magazine. Brave stuff from the players, but we can probably be rest assured that most of their other moves will be left at the poker table.
