Casinos Expanding Around The World
25 Sep 09
With so many casinos currently opening around the world, one has to think about the current rate of global growth this industry is experiencing. More casinos are being built and opened in the USA, with much of the revenue filtering through to the governments to assist with the economic problems.

Macau continues to build its way into a golden period, with Singapore and Phillipines joining in the fun to ensure their local market do not have to travel far to have gambling services.

When is this continual expansion of global gambling going to stop? The only hurdle in the way is actually the social stigma that comes with gambling. Governments associate gambling with problem gambling and social crime, but this can be equally said by plenty of other services that are freely supplied around the world. Fatty fast foods, caffeine, tobacco are all examples of services that have already expanded without restriction and highly embedded in to global culture.

Gambling is currently one solution to helping solve the global recession, and with it's continual revenue generation for governments, it takes a problem to find a solution that was once a problem in itself.
