Us TV show producers of poker program 'Face the Ace' are being sued for $85 million by a fellow named Brandon McSmith. Brandon claims that he first approached the production company Poker Productions about a show where amateurs face off against pros, and they rejected it. Now the show airs on NBC and Brandon was a piece of the action, named to the tune of $85 million.
This is probably one of the most ridiculous and optimistic lawsuits yet since $85 million for a show that does not rate well and does not show high quality poker is just very wishful thinking. Compared to some other shows, $85 million would have to be suitable for coming up with the secret formula to Coca Cola or working out the secret herbs and spices in KFC.
