Delaware Gearing Up For Sports Betting?

According to numerous reports, the state of Delaware could be instituting sports betting even by the summer.

The Philadelphia Daily News reports that it could happen after Jack Markell officially assumes his position as Delaware's Governor.

"When Delaware Gov.-elect Jack Markell and a new General Assembly take office next month, the legalization of sports betting is expected to be high on their "to-do" list," said the Daily News.

The move could have and adverse effect on Atlantic City casinos though, the report goes on to say.
