Jadestone Teams With Euro Social Network Site
04 Dec 08
Much like Facebook's poker community, Jadestone is teaming with a networking platform to provide a multiplayer experience.

Swedish online gaming company Jadestone is teaming up with Netlog, a European social portal with over 30 million users "to bring innovative new multiplayer games to the Netlog online community," the two said in a release.

Players need only have a profile with Netlog and won't need to sign up with Jadestone's GamArena to play as Netlog utilizes Google OpenSocial API, which will allow games to be played on Netlog's system.

"Netlog is one of the fastest growing social networks in Europe and around the world, and is constantly improving the online experience of its young and dynamic community," said Jadestone CEO Robert Henrysson.

"It is also a place where users can have fun – and we're delighted to be able to enrich their experience."

"We are very happy to work with Jadestone in making Netlog a place where our members can spend even more time having fun," said his counterpart at Netlog, CEO Lorenz Bogaert.

"Jadestone is a creative company with plenty of experience in social gaming, so we're pleased they can share their games with our users."
