	Lotta Lindquist-Brosjö stepping down as CEO opened the door for a promotion for Bet24's deputy chief executive. Maria Karlsson is Bet24's new chief executive officer after Lindquist-Brosjö announced that she would be leaving the post "to pursue other interests." Karlsson has previously been Bet24's Chief Financial Officer and she just vacated her position as deputy CEO to assume her new position. "Maria has an extensive knowledge of the business as she has been both CFO and Deputy CEO," said Bet24 chair, Jørgen Madsen. "In her roles she has also been very much involved in the transformation of Bet24 during the past years and she will be able to take us to the next level."
