Williams Sued For Contract Breach
10th December 2009

Montel WiIliams, founder of the International Team Poker League is being sued for breach of contract by Guardian Gaming. The suit details that Guardian Gaming were initially partnering with Guardian Gaming by investing $300,000 as an upfront investment and also setting up an Internet gaming site, in return for a 25% stake in the league. Williams then knocked back the offer by finding another company that provided the same services for cheaper than Guardian Gaming could provide.

Guardian Gaming has now decided to sue Williams and the International Team Poker League for breach of contract, intentional misrepresentation, fraud, unjust enrichment and conversion. They are also seeking the actually repayment of their initial $300,000 investment from Williams and his crew.
