Michigan police have raided and busted an illegal poker game. The bust came about with the Grand Rapids Poker Club advertising a poker game that featured food, drinks, poker and topless dealers on internet classifieds site Craigslist. Over 20 poker players were in attendance and were subsequently arrested by Michigan police.
The arrested 20 poker players will most likely receive 90 day misdemeanour charges. The poker tournament was held at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Kentwood and has also been cautioned by police with their involvement in actually facilitating an illegal poker game. An undercover agent from the Bureau of State Lottery was also present at two previous games to help with the arrest.
