When you take a look at the AFC South, you probably won’t be surprised to see the Indianapolis Colts atop the division, but you may be to see the Houston Texans tied with them.
If you think about it, it was inevitable considering that the team was amongst the league’s bottom feeders, never finishing higher third in the four team AFC South.
Still, the season is still very young and both linesmakers and bettors probably aren’t sold on Houston yet—they are dogged by a TD at some sportsbooks.
Here is this week’s menu:
Sunday, September 23, 2007

Venue: Reliant Stadium (grass)
Opening Line: Colts -5, Total 48

Trends
The Colts have lost five-straight games ATS vs. AFC South opposition.
Houston is currently riding a four-game win streak ATS – their new record for longest in franchise history.
Indy's past nine games with a posted total of 48 points or more have ended in 7 overs and 2 unders.
WOL Play Call: A healthy Texans roster might've been able to run with the Colts, but with Andre Johnson out, Houston is missing a weapon who can put points on the board. Take Peyton's pals plus the points.
