SPORTS
Opening kickoff for the NFL produced some interesting results.
The Tennessee Titans were 7½ underdogs against the Jacksonville Jaguars but covered by 10½-points in a 13-10 victory.
The NY Giants and the Dallas Cowboys nearly doubled the total of 44 in their Sunday night matchup—the final score was 45-35 Cowboys.
The Carolina Panthers surprised the St. Louis Rams and chalk bettors by covering the 1½ point spread by 15½.
Everyone knows how good the Bears’ defense is, but the San Diego Chargers were the ones in shut down mode, holding Chicago to a field goal in a 14-3 win with the game going well under the 43-point total set by Vegas.
This week’s action sees one of this generation’s great QBs facing off against possibly one of the next generations; the Chargers meeting the Pats for the first time since their playoff matchup last year and two NFC East rivals getting ready to butt heads on Monday night.

Trends
- The Colts are 10-2 ATS as road faves in September.
- Tennessee is 7-2 ATS after a matchup with Jacksonville.
- Indy’s past five visits to Tennessee resulted in 3 overs and 2 unders but note that the past four overall meetings in this series have all produced unders.
WOL Play Call: Don’t expect the Colts to put up 41 points on the scoreboard but expect them to win by more than a TD. Take the Colts ATS.
