(London, England) — British spread-betting firm IG Group Plc (IGG.L: Quote, Profile , Research) said on Friday it had a stronger start to the financial year than it had expected on better market conditons, as it reported a more than 60 percent rise in quarterly revenue.
It said that group revenue for the quarter to end-August was in excess of 40 million pounds ($81 million), versus 25 million pounds a year ago and it remained confident in its prospects for the full year.
