New England Patriots at Cincinnati Bengals

Line: Bengals -6 (Opening Bengals -4˝)

Over/Under: 46˝

Key Points: Contrary to earlier reports, ex Bengal and current Pat RB Corey Dillon was not listed on New England’s injury report and is expected to share duties with Laurence Maroney as usual.

This will be Dillon’s first visit back to Cincy since becoming a Patriot.

New England QB Tom Brady has already lost his two favorite targets from last year—Deion Branch and David Givens—and could be without the services of rookie wideout Chad Jackson, who has a sore hamstring.

S Eugene Wilson has the same ailment and is listed as questionable.

Though not a sound bite provider like fellow Bengal Chad Johnson, T.J. Houshmandzadeh is still a good WR and he will likely see action, despite a foot injury.

DT Sam Adams has a knee injury and is also expected to play.

Cincinnati will be without the services of S Dexter Jackson, who is expected to be out ‘til Week 6.

The Patriots have covered 15 out of their last 19 when not playing on grass.

Cincy has blown 12 out of their last 18 at home.

Winneronline Opinion: Corey Dillon will have a big game.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Washington Redskins

Line: Jags -3 (Opening: Unchanged)

Over/Under: 34˝

Key Points: After setting a record for consecutive completions last week, Washington QB Mark Brunell is suffering from an elbow injury to his throwing arm and was kept out of practice at various times throughout the week. He should play though.

The Skins’ secondary will be missing standout CB Shawn Springs who has a groin injury.

Jacksonville has their fair share of key players injured too. RB Maurice Jones-Drew (ankle), WR Matt Jones (calf), DT Marcus Stroud (ankle) and DE Marcellus Wiley (Groin) are all banged up.

The Jags are 10 of 14 ATS the week after losing on the road.

The Skins are 4-8 when not getting bookie love at home.

Winneronline Opinion: Every NFL team has injuries but a banged up QB can be deadly, especially if the injury is to his throwing arm.

Sunday Night

Seattle Seahawks at Chicago Bears

Line: Da Bears -3 (Opening: Bears -3˝)

Over/Under: 36

Key Points: In case you live in Siberia, Shaun Alexander is out with a foot injury.

Although the ‘Hawks are without their star RB, the sky won’t fall on the Seattle running game as Maurice Morris has done admirable work out of the bullpen. Morris has a career yards per carry average of 4.5 yards and 8.3 yards per reception.

Offensive lineman Chris Gray is questionable with a knee injury.

Chicago’s most notable injuries are to TE Desmond Clark who is questionable with a foot injury and to S Chris Harris who is also questionable with an ankle injury.

In their last 10 road efforts, Seattle has blown seven of them.

In their last 11 games, Da Bears are 7-2-2 when favored by the books.

Winneronline Opinion: Unlike what many are predicting, the Seahawks could give the Bears a run for their money.
