Aggressive gambling expansion has led to Pennsylvania posting an excellent state budget. Pennsylvania is one of the newest states to have casinos open and since it’s continual expansion, it now stands as one of the top casino locations in the East Coast of the United States. This has led to a revenue of over $1 billion dollars for the government.

Now that Pennsylvania’s slots revenue has surpassed that of Atlantic City, there are now plans to add more table games to casinos so that the gambling revenue is even higher for the next year. This extra gambling revenue will help the government offset all the budget deficits that have been accrued from bad investments and trying to stimulate the economy from previous recessions.
