Oscarsson’s Death Getting Clear 25th November 2009
Swedish police are finally putting together the bits and pieces to the story of why Andres Oscarsson was murdered in his parent’s house in Sweden mid this year. The founder of the website pokerlistings was shot in the head whilst sleeping, with his death sending shockwaves through the world poker community. Police are now releasing a motive that involves Oscarsson being murdered to stop him from appearing in court.
Oscarsson had previously sold part of Pokerlistings to a Swedish company, which eventually devalued heavily due to the UIGEA ruling. The Swedish company then demanded $2 million compensation from Andreas Oscarsson and decided to use former Hell’s Angels in Sweden to pressure Oscarsson. The accused man from the Swedish company was due to stand trial in a week before Oscarsson was shot dead.
