Optimal Group has released a statement that it will be agreeing to terms of a non-prosecution agreement to the tone of $19, 182, 418.18. This is in connection with facilitating internet gambling merchant systems to US customers. In May 11, 2007 the US government issued a warrant for the seizure for the funds of $19, 182, 418.18 deposited in two US banks, which were on deposit to the credit of the company’s members and affiliates. This means that all the funds that the company transacted through it’s gambling portals has been seized by the government.

Optimal group has a wide branch of various businesses. It notably operates the WowWee group of companies with offices in Hong Kong, Carlsbad, California, Brussels, Belgium and Montreal, Quebec. Their products include leading designer and marketer of consumer robotics, toys, entertainment products and softwares.
