The NFL institutes flex scheduling towards the end of the season in order to ensure that games in primetime will actually worth watching, a lot can happen between the time the schedule is made and Week 10 after all.

Maybe the flex schedule should be a year round thing, because Week 6’s marquee matchup takes place Sunday afternoon, while the Sunday and Monday night games leave something to be desired.
