Baltimore Ravens at New Orleans Saints – Superdome (Artificial)

Line: Saints 1˝ (Opening: Saints 2˝)

Over/Under: 37 (Unchanged)

Key Points: After a bye week, that saw the firing of offensive coordinator Jim Fassel, head coach Brian Billick will be calling the offensive shots from the sidelines.

Ravens QB Steve McNair, who sustained a concussion against the Carolina Panthers, practiced with the first-team offense and is expected to start.

According to NFL.com, SS Dawan Landry is probable despite a knee injury and the same goes for FS Gerome Sapp, who has an injury to his thigh.

Baltimore DB Corey Ivy will miss the game with a kidney tear. Billick did say he would return at some point this season, but didn’t specify.

New Orleans Saints TE Ernie Conwell will miss the game with a knee injury.

NFL.com reports that T Zach Strief is doubtful with a finger injury.

RB Deuce McAllister should see duty as he is listed as probable despite a hamstring injury. The Ravens lost 23-21 to the Carolina Panthers prior to their bye and that bodes well for this week as they are 8-3 against the number after a loss at M&T Bank Stadium.

On the flip side, they have dropped eight out of 11 when dogged by a TD or less.

The Saints have dropped eight out of their last 10 tilts ATS against the AFC North.

Winneronline Opinion: A close one but the Saints should cover.

Indianapolis Colts at Denver Broncos – Invesco Field (Grass)

Line: Broncos -3 (Unchanged)

Over/Under: 39˝ (Opening: 37˝)

Key Points: The Colts have the NFL’s third best total offense, while the Broncos have the fourth best total defense.

Indy’s infirmary seems to be bursting at the seams with many notable injured players. DT Montae Reagor will miss the game with a facial bone fracture and various media outlets say that WR Brandon Stokley will do likewise with a knee injury.

RB Dominic Rhodes and DE Dwight Freeney are both questionable with ankle and shoulder injuries respectively.

S Bob Sanders is doubtful with a knee injury.

Two key cogs on special teams, P Hunter Smith and K Adam Vinatieri, are both nursing injured groins but are listed as probable.

C Jeff Saturday has a back injury but is also probable.

The Broncos have players that are dinged up too, but the list is shorter.

OT Matt Lepsis is out for the season with a tear to his right knee ligament.

DT Gerard Warren is listed as questionable with a toe injury.

LB Al Wilson (thumb), RBs Tatum Bell (toe) and Cedric Cobbs (ankle) are probable.

The Colts are winless ATS in their last four when dogged.

When the total is between 35˝ and 42, Denver is an atrocious 1-9 ATS at Invesco.

Winneronline Opinion: The Colts are banged up and that could benefit Denver backers.
