NFL Betting Trifecta For Week 13
by Karl Yu, WinnerOnline
30 November, 2007, updated 3 December, 2007

SPORTS

« Bengals vs. Steelers

Monday, December 3, 2007

New England Patriots at Baltimore Ravens (Pats -20½, Total 49½) Note - Line has dropped.

Venue: M&T Bank Stadium (artificial)

Opening Line: Pats -20, Total 52

Records: Pats 11-0 (9-2-0 ATS, 9-2-0 O/U)
Ravens 4-7 (1-10-0 ATS, 5-4-2 O/U)

Key Injuries

Patriots - Uncertain: RB Kevin Faulk (thigh) IR: LB Roosevelt Colvin (foot) Questionable: CB Randall Gay (back) Probable: WR Troy Brown (knee)

Ravens - Out: QB Steve McNair (shoulder) Questionable: TE Todd Heap (hamstring), CB Chris McAlister (knee), WR Demetrius Williams (ankle) Probable: RB Willis McGahee (ankle)

Trends

- The Pats own a sparkling 9-2 ATS record but they are only 2-5 against the number following a SU win that was an ATS loss.

- Dating back to last season, the Ravens are an atrocious 1-11 ATS.

WOL Playcall: Did the Philly Eagles lay down a blueprint for future teams to run with when playing New England? Maybe. But Bill Belichick is a good coach and you can be certain that he was fixed the problems defensive weaknesses that allowed the Eagles to put up 28 points last week.

However the Ravens are solid defensively (NFL's 4th best in yards allowed) and Ed Reed along with Chris McAlister (if he plays) at least have the size to present matchup problems for WR Randy Moss.

Take the Pats in the Moneyline, but take the Ravens plus the 20½-points or 18-points.
