I never really understand how football fans can hate on the Canadian Football League but swear by American college and NFL football.

The CFL game is more wide open and more conducive to offense and who doesn’t like seeing a high scoring game?

While teams in the NCAA jockey for BCS positioning and the NFL enters Week 12, the CFL will hold its championship game this coming Sunday, November 25 with the Saskatchewan Roughriders representing the West and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the East—a battle of two Canadian prairie cities.

The consensus line has the Riders as a big chalk at -11˝ with the total set at 49˝, in other words linesmakers are forecasting that Saskatchewan will grab the green, no pun intended.

Although the Blue Bombers covered as a 7˝-point ‘dog against Toronto (in Toronto) and earned the right to play for Earl Grey’s cup, they lost their starting QB, Kevin Glenn, with a broken arm, which accounts for the steep line.
