NBA Teams Restricted
12th January 2010

The NBA has moved very quickly to rectify all the bad press that it has received after the Washington Wizards gun slinging event. Many teams are now enforcing gambling bans and is shaking up the way the basketballers get to release stress and spend their free time. The league itself is considering a gambling ban on all players, with the Washington Wizards and New Jersey Nets the first two teams to lead the way in gambling bans.

Other coaches like Phil Jackson of the premiership winning Los Angeles Lakers have declared that there is no such problem and feels that playing cards is no problem at all. Players also feel that playing cards for just fun and no wager will take all the fun out of playing cards since all the athletes are such competitive players, there needs to be an incentive to play.
