Missouri Opens Casino Licence Application
27th May 2010

The gambling lawmakers of Missouri have signalled to the market that they are accepting applications for a new casino licence to replace the St Louise President Casino. With the law stating that only once casino is allowed to operate in the area, the opportunity has come up for a new operator with the President Casino closing on July the 1st. The applications have to be handed in to the Missouri Gaming Commission by September 1st along with an attached $50,000 application fee.

Recent heavy rain has meant that the President Casino has had to close it’s doors to gaming with the rivers flooding, in recent weeks. The flooding have caused two casualties with St Louis being hardest hit from rising flood waters. The casino has now managed to reopen it’s doors to gambling trade to see out it’s remaining opening time until it’s closure in July.
