Betting On The 2008 U.S. Presidential Election

Who says politics aren’t exciting and intriguing?

Although the actual 2008 U.S. Presidential Election won’t take place until this November, the action is heating up with the Primaries taking place and the verbal quotes and sound bites have been classic.

Some of the best verbal salvos though aren’t coming from Democrat against Republican and vice versa—it has been coming from Democrat against Democrat.

Democratic nominees Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are both making their cases for why they should lead the party and it is becoming heated to say the least.

“Voters will judge whether living in a foreign country at the age of 10 prepares one to face the big, complex international challenges the next President will face,” Clinton said in reference to the fact that Obama spent part of his childhood in Indonesia.

Obama, who has been ridiculed by Hillary for borrowing quotes, lifted an interesting one in New York last year.

“[The man] said, ‘The same old experience is not relevant: You can have the right kind of experience and the wrong kind of experience,’” said Obama when Hillary Clinton suggested that he lacked experience to be President.

He was quoting Hillary’s husband, former President Bill Clinton.

On top of all the headlines the races are getting in the media, the betting world is offering numerous options on the Primaries and the impending Presidential Election.
