Bodoglife.com is offering options on the next Democratic Primary in April; Sen. Clinton is the prohibitive fave at -450, while Sen. Obama is a +275 longshot.
However, although Clinton may be favored to take the Primary in Pennsylvania, the oddsmakers at Bodog don’t think she has the steam to take the overall nomination.
In its “Who will be named as the Democratic candidate for the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election?” prop Obama is the odds-on listed at -375 while Clinton is +275. The field is listed at +12,500.
Bet365.com is offering a “Winning Party” prop. If you think it is the Democrats, the odds are -250 and it is +175 for the Republicans.
While Bet365 isn’t offering odds for other parties besides Republican or Democrat, Sportsbook.com is offering an option for The Field; +1000 if you want to bet on a real longshot.
While Clinton and Obama are the major Democrats with aspirations for the Presidential nomination, there are others. Sportsbook.com is offering odds for Mike Gravel with the Senator listed at +25,000.
Props on the Republican party aren’t as plentiful as Republican Senator John McCain became the “Presumptive Nominee” earlier in March when Mitt Romney dropped out.
However, The Greek Sportsbook has McCain listed at +170 to be the next President of the United States while Intertops.com has the Republican Senator listed at +140.
In the long, long, long, longshot department, Intertops also has Ralph Nader listed at +50,000 to come out of nowhere and pull the upset.
The Presidential election will be here before you know it so get your bets in while you can.
