Pokerstars has just announced they have started the satellites and qualifiers for the 2008 WSOP Main Event and they will be sending more players than any other room online.

In addition to this they have also included extra ways for players to qualify making this year's packages better than any before.

Players can win a seat by;

- Buy-in directly to any of the cash qualifiers
- Use Frequent Player Points in the FPP qualifiers
- Work their way up to the Main Event through the Steps Sit & Go Satellites

Players who win a WSOP seat through Pokerstars will receive;

- An 8 night stay at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas from July 2nd - July 9th. In addition to this if a player is fortunate enough to still be in the Main Event beyond the 9th, PokerStars has guaranteed they will continue to pay for the accommodations until that player is either eliminated or the tournament is completed. Players will also receive a shuttle to and from the Rio each day to make sure they will always have transportation. An additional $2,000 will be given in cash, to spend as they like and of course a $10,000 WSOP Main Event Seat. In total this package is worth over $12,000.

- They have also added some extras to these packages which include cash bonuses up to $50,000 if any player who makes it far enough where they will be on a TV table, and an additional $1,000,000 for any player who qualifies through Pokerstars and makes the final table. They don't even have to win the Main Event. Make final table and they will automatically be paid one million dollars.

- Supernova or Supernova Elite VIP member, Pokerstars will also be upgrading the hotel suite free of charge. This is part of the Poker Stars VIP player rewards program.
