Texas A&M might've been favored by 3, but it was Memphis that ended up cashing in with a 65-64 victory. The 135½-point total went under.
One would think that getting taken to OT by Xavier would've woken up the Buckeyes. Nevertheless, Ohio State dug themselves a very big hole against Tennessee in the first half, as they went into halftime down 49-32. They completed a major comeback in the second however, winning the game by a score of 85-84. Ohio State failed to cover as 5-point favorites and the total of 144½ went over.
West Region
If you bet on Southern Illinois you cashed in, if you were a Southern Illinois fan however, you were out of luck. The Salukis were beaten by 8½-point favorite Kansas 61-58. The total went of under 125½.
UCLA earned a berth in the Elite Eight after they not only beat the Pitt Panthers 64-55, but covered as a 3-point chalk as well. The 124-point total went under.

Midwest Region
The Florida Gators look like they are doing their best impression of last year's team as they moved on to the Elite Eight on the strength of a 65-57 victory over Butler. The Gators missed covering the 10-point line by 2-points and the total went under by 5½.
UNLV ran out of steam at the end and lost to Oregon by a final count of 76-72. The Ducks covered as 3-point favorites and the 139½-point total went over.
East Region
Two seed Georgetown barely moved on to the Elite Eight after a 66-65 nailbiter against Vanderbilt. The 7½-point favorite Hoyas failed to cover and the 131½-point total went under by half a point.
Seeded one in the East, North Carolina followed a script similar to Ohio State's Sweet 16 matchup, they came back to win. The Tar Heels (-9) went into the half down by 11 to the USC Trojanas, but rallied with a strong second half to eventually win the game 74-64. They covered the 9-point line in the process. The final score went under 151½.
