Midwest Region
Maryland failed to cover as 5-point favorites as they were upset 62-59 by Butler. the 132-point total went under.
East Region
Vanderbilt upset Washington State taking the Cougars to double OT and winning 78-74. WSU was favored by 2½ and the total of 129½ went over.
Boston College was grounded by Georgetown 62-55. The Hoyas failed to cover as 7½-point favorites and the 128-point total went under.
North Carolina beat Michigan St. 81-67. The Tar Heels covered as the 10-point chalk and the total went over 136.
South Region
Irish eyes weren't the only ones that were smiling on St. Patrick's Day. The Ohio State Buckeyes got a scare but beat Xavier 78-71 in OT. They failed to cover the 7½-point spread and the total went over the 137 set by Vegas.
Texas A&M beat Louisville by a final count of 72-69 barely covering the 2½-point spread. The 130-point total went over.
West Region
Virginia Commonwealth's ride came to a halt as Pitt beat them 84-79 in OT. Pitt failed to cover as 7½-point faves and the 135-point total went over.
UCLA beat Indiana 54-49. The Bruins failed to cover the 7-point spread and the 127½-point total went under.
