PRESS RELEASE
LAS VEGAS – Bingo is back and it’s bigger than ever! More than 2,000 leading bingo industry operators, vendors and media are expected to gather at the 8th Annual BingoWorld Conference and Expo, March 9-11, 2004, at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. BingoWorld is preceded by a new half-day conference, Bingo.II, the afternoon of March 9.
Bingo continues to thrive across the globe, thanks in part to the passion of hard-core, longtime loyalists, and aided by new technologies that are helping to bring younger players into the fold. BingoWorld and Bingo.II help bring together young and old, traditional and newfangled into one exciting three-day forum.
Bingo.II is devoted to the exciting future of Class II gaming and the tremendous potential for growth it offers for Tribal Gaming operations. A ruling from the National Indian Gaming Commission about non-compacted Class II electronic bingo gaming devices could pave the way for a new wave of Tribal Gaming success around the US. And recently the Oklahoma legislature legalized modified Class II gaming slots, which also allows for the machines’ placement at racetracks. More than 200 people have pre-registered for Bingo.II. The conference begins at 1 p.m. March 9. Topics are:
* Regulatory Update
* Games & Technology
* Marketing the Class II Property session
The Bingo.II Conference is followed by the opening of the world’s largest bingo trade show, the BingoWorld Expo, at 6 p.m. March 9. The Expo continues the afternoons of March 10 and 11.
The BingoWorld Conference, the mornings of March 10 and 11, features 18 diverse seminars, addressing these six Conference Track topics:
* Creature Comforts
* Players are Your Guests
* The Winning Experience
* Planning and Programming for Success
* Expanding Entertainment Options
* Integrity is Not Negotiable
More than 50 leading bingo vendors, operators and regulators will serve as speakers, moderators and panelists at Bingo.II and BingoWorld Conference sessions.
The BingoWorld Expo has expanded again from last year’s record-breaking size. It will feature the industry’s leading vendors, who will be showing a diverse mix of products ranging from traditional bingo products to the latest in electronic technology.
BingoWorld attracts the industry’s leading vendors and operators from around the globe. Once again this year, Canada will be well-represented among attendees, and with the addition of the Bingo.II conference, BingoWorld 2004 will welcome a large number of Indian Gaming operators from around the country.
BingoWorld and Bingo.II take place at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. To view all 18 seminar titles and descriptions, see the list of confirmed speakers to-date, view the list of exhibitors and to register, log on to www.bingoexpo.com.
