One of the giants of European betting, Mangas Gaming has announced that it will be acquiring a 60% control stake of Everest gaming. Everest Gaming’s 40% holder will remin to be GigaMedia. The acquisition turns Mangas Gaming in to one of the three leading European online gaming companies in Europe with Betclic, Expekt, Bet-At-Home and Everest Poker coming together under the same umbrella.

Everest Poker started operations 12 years ago and has continued to grow and target European poker players with their own online poker software. Although the site is no where near as big as online poker giants Pokerstars or Fulltilt, it has still held it’s own and is a recognisable brand across Europe. The acquisition is a clear strategic progression combining online sports betting and online poker.
