Macau Casino To Display Michael Glove 5th December 2009
The owners of the Ponte 16 casino in Macau will soon be displaying the coveted rhinestone glove of the late Michael Jackson. A shrine dedicated to Michael Jackson is currently being built at the casino and will display the glove as a dedication to the king of pop. The shrine will be the first Michael Jackson shrine in all of Asia, with the glove being purchased by the owners in a US auction for US$350,000.
The shrine has been planned to be situated in the lobby of the Ponte 16 casino, and will feature in all of the tourist brochures that already are lined with many other casino attractions. Ponte 16 is a casino project owned by Stanley Ho and Hoffman Ma. It is located in one of the older quarters of Macau, away from all the tourist spots, and now features a five star Sofitel Hotel.
