Is Viper Software Any Good?
by Michael Shaye, WINNERonline.com
11 June 2003

Visit Crazy Vegas Casino and you will be one of the very first to play Microgaming's new Viper software. Crazy Vegas launched Viper in May along with other Microgaming heavy-hitters such as Riverbelle, Vegas Slot Casino, and Lucky Nugget.

So what is Viper software and what's all the fuss about?

Viper is a new version of the popular Microgaming casino software. It offers a whopping 119 games -- including 10 new games -- plus new features like Autoplay and Expert Mode, and improved speed and navigation.

"Viper is without doubt the best casino software on the market," says Trevor Penn, Crazy Vegas Casino's Manager.

Bigger Game Selection

Whether you're a Blackjack Buff or Jackpot Junkie, the selection of games will stagger anyone who remembers online gaming from a few short years ago. Viper's 119 games includes all the traditional favorites plus 10 new games: a Blackjack High Limit Table, Red Dog, Monster Mania and Oriental Fortune Slots, and more.

Autoplay and Expert Mode

With Viper software, players can choose Expert Mode and let the casino software choose the cards to keep in Video Poker, or decide when to draw in Blackjack.

"Expert Mode will automatically play the best strategy for you, allowing the very best return possible. And it empowers players with more information about the games," said Penn.

Expert Mode will prompt you if you've made a mathematically unsound decision and give you the option to change your decision. It's a great safeguard against careless play.

You can also set the software to play in Autoplay Mode. No more clicking the mouse. Leave the room for a few minutes and set it on Autoplay. You won't get disconnected from the game or timed out, because you're still playing!

"Autoplay enables player to automatically play a selected number of consecutive hands or spins without having to interact with the software," said Penn. "You could theoretically tell Viper to play all night while you sleep - only stopping if it hits a jackpot."

For example, in Slots, tell the software to play 10 hands or until the jackpot is won. In roulette, customize your betting strategy with the Autoplay Game Strategy option and let the computer roll for you.

Trevor Penn has created some exciting options for anyone who wishes to try Viper at Crazy Vegas Casino:
