Odds to win 2008 Super Bowl XLII - MVP

While high-profile players such as Peyton Manning and Tom Brady have grabbed the Pete Rozelle trophy the last five years, some relatively unknowns have been named the Super Bowl MVP.

Pats WR Deion Branch (Super Bowl XXXIX), Steelers WR Hines Ward (XL) and Bucs FS Dexter Jackson (XXXVII) have taken the award in that time span as well.

While the likes of Brady (-200) and Randy Moss (+700) from New England and Eli Manning (+350) and Plaxico Burress (+800) from New York are all options at Bodog, it might be worth bettors’ while to wager on a lesser known player.

The likes of DB Sam Madison or LB Antonio Pierce (both +4000) from the Giants or maybe WRs Jabar Gaffney or Donte’ Stallworth from the Pats (both +2000) are viable options.

2008 Super Bowl XLII - Highest Scoring Quarter

The second quarter saw both teams combine for 27-points scored; will history repeat itself at the Super Bowl?

Bodog is offering four options for its Highest Scoring Quarter prop with the 1st listed at +300, the 2nd at +165, the 3rd at +265 and the final quarter of regulation listed at +220.
