Zapote, Costa Rica -- It is pretty tough in today's NFL to survive a team mutiny, but that is exactly what Oakland head coach, Bill Callahan, would have had to have done to keep his job. One year removed from the Superbowl and "Da' Raiders" absolutely collapsed, going 4-12, and tying for the worst record in the NFL.
Raiders' All-Pro cornerback, Charles Woodson, among many others, virtually demanded that Callahan be fired, after he lost control of the team midway through the season. It got so bad that, after Woodson had been benched for the last game of the season for fighting with Callahan, the whole secondary threatened to walk out. Fortunately, they came to their senses and realized that someone had to play the game against the San Diego Chargers.
"What happened in Oakland was an absolute disgrace," said BetCBSports Senior Odds Maker, Dan "The Man" Johnson. "Not only did Callahan lose his team, but their play on the field looked more like a bad college team than a Superbowl runner up."
