Laying down a $500 bet can be a lot of fun, but some people are much happier playing for $1 a hand. You can usually play longer and you don't have to worry quite as much about losing your shirt.
We've updated the Blackjack and slots sections of our classic Cheapskate's Guide to Online Gambling with more places to play for less money. As with the original guide, this isn't necessarily an endorsement for any of these sites.
Blackjack
$5 minimums are a little tough to deal with if you're still working on basic Blackjack strategy, so think about trying these sites while you get the hang of things. (You can also check out WINNERonline's Basic Blackjack Strategy page if you need some tips.) All games are $1 minimums unless otherwise specified.
