With so much casino expansion in the USA, and the recession producing a major budget deficit from President Obama, another state has announced their intentions for selling a hotel licence. Hawaii, known by many around the world as a tropical paradise and surfing destination has signalled that it will propose selling off casino licences to help with budgeting.
Opening a casino in Hawaii will help with attracting more tourists to the area and also help with local unemployment. If casino was to open in Hawaii, it could provide up to 4,000 jobs to locals. With so many other states around the US opening up casinos, it might not take as much persuasion to sway local voters to look to the positives of legalised gambling facilities.
