Guyana will be opening it’s much heralded Princess Casino in the coming weeks. The country itself is not very big and also not very well known for tourism and will be looking to promote the casino to help increase it’s overall tourist numbers. In the previous years, less than 300,000 tourists have visited Guyana, with the government now investing more dollars into tourism marketing.
Locals are not allowed to enter the new casino unless they are actually planning to stay in the hotel itself. Many of the locals follow the Christian faith, with the local churches lobbying to impose the rule to ensure the minimisation of gambling’s social costs. Guyana is a small South American country on the northern side of South America. It has a total population of 800,000 people.
