Governor David Patterson of New York have been consistently trying to implement legislation to expand the gambling laws to ensure greater casino facilities and to compete with New Jersey. But recently his Governor Patterson’s name has surfaced due to the illegal gambling activity of his son. Police officer in the Upper East Side had to arrest 15 year old Alex Patterson after finding him playing a dice game for money amongst friends.

Despite it being just a dice game, playing it for money is against the law. Aside from just gambling with friends, Alex Patterson also happen to produce a bank card that had someone else’s name on it and eventually was reported lost. Alex was then released after questioning, with his other gambling friends also free to leave.
