Genting Casinos have been awarded with the privilege of being the new operators of the casino in the Nile Ritz Carlton Hotel, Cairo. The licence extends for an initial 10 years and will be up for an extension based on the performance of Genting. The company that is going to be in charge of the operations is Genting UK, which is an indirect subsidiary of Genting Singapore.

Genting UK already has several up market casinos in Crockfords, Coloby and Maxims. It plans to ensure The Nile Ritz Carlton Hotel withholds premium standards of casino management and is well underway with expanding it’s current portfolio of international casinos. The Genting group of casinos originates from South East Asia in Malaysia, Genting Highlands. It currently is completing the construction of one of only two casinos in Singapore.
