Galaxy Macau has been featured in the news of late for their dubious land concessions from the Macau planning government. Such an outcry from the already established casinos seems reasonable since Galaxy Macau on the Cotai Strip is now shaping up to the mega casino resort that it’s owners envisage it to be. Construction is well underway with the two main hotel towers taking shape on the strip. With two big casinos already on the strip, Galaxy Macau looks to more than hold it’s own against the Venetian and City of Dreams.

Galaxy Macau’s position on the strip means that all the airlines which fly into Macau airport will be presented with the grand buildings of the casino before they see the other casinos. The expected opening date for the grand scheme is Chinese New Year of 2011 and promises all the usual international boutiques and fashion shops, world class restaurants and five star accommodation.
