Gambling in Florida has increased at a pace that has made Florida one of the highest casinos growth states in the USA. This has largely been due to the casinos controlled by the Seminole Indians who have continued to negotiate a compact for their casinos. Lately, the Seminoles have added blackjack and baccarat to their casinos which has led to a 20% jump in gambling revenue over the year.

Blackjack is currently disproved by the state, but the Seminoles are negotiating to have it legal for it to operate the tables at all of their locations. The Seminoles have also asked for exclusive licences to blackjack, but the state is still brewing over this decision, especially if it decides to expand gambling like the rest of the country has. The fact that the state has received more revenue from allowing blackjack has meant it is interested in expanding it further rather than limiting it to a few casinos.
