As mentioned, punters who played the Giants saw a profitable Sunday as New York defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo’s front four constantly pressured Pats QB Tom Brady and sacked him five times in the 17-14 victory; more than adequately covering the 12½-point spread.

Giants WR Plaxico Burress was bold enough to predict a 23-17 win over the undefeated earlier in the week (he wasn’t far off either) and Tom Brady was amused with forecast asking, “We're only going to score 17 points?”
Actually, the Patriots couldn’t even muster that much, scoring only two TDs and the combined final score of 31 fell well short of the 54½ Over/Under.
MVP prop
Odds-on favorite Tom Brady (-200) obviously didn’t win but his counterpart did.
While no one doubts Eli Manning’s MVP play, there has been some suggesting that it should’ve been one of the defensive lineman taking home the MVP award.
Regardless, it’s back to back Manning Super Bowl MVPs.
