SOURCE: Press Release

(Las Vegas, Nevada) — Show Partners, a worldwide leader and provider of broadcast television production, crewing, and design services announced its return to Las Vegas for the fourth straight year of production and show operations for the 2008 NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship.

With player pairings scheduled for Thursday, February 28th, the one-on-one bracket-based competition continues through March 2nd, when a two-out-of-three championship match will determine the tournament winner with stated earnings of $500,000 in prize money.

As in the previous three years, the Caesars Palace Poker Tournament Room will serve as the backdrop for both new and returning celebrity players that include: Jason Alexander, Gabe Kaplan, Don Cheadle, Jennifer Tilly, Shannon Elizabeth, and Orel Hershiser, who will square off with the likes of defending NBC National Heads Up Poker champions Paul Wasicka (2007), Ted Forrest (2006), and Phil Hellmuth (2005).

Show Partners EVP Larry Rogers stated, "We are proud to have been selected for the 4th consecutive year to provide operations and engineering services to NBC for The National Heads Up Poker Championship."

He added, "This unique event allows Show Partners to showcase our vast experience in the sports television community and provide not only unique technology as it relates to poker, but also custom scenic and lighting as part of our services."

With 17 players making their debut in the 2008 event, this tournament offers intense competition as rising stars, celebrities and poker pros all aim for the championship series, which will be taped for broadcast on NBC over six consecutive Sundays beginning April 13, 2008.
