After being served with a patent infringement lawsuit back in late August it seems as if another round is set to be contested in the case of Scott Lewis and Las Vegas based 1st Technology LLC against Calvin Ayre and Bodog.
Bodog was forced to switch domain names because of the lawsuit, going from Bodog.com to Bodoglife.com back in September and now various Bodog advertising contracts have been subpoenaed to, as online-casinos.com says, "seek the presentation of all records, documents and correspondence related to payments received by Bodog-branded products or services."
"Respondents are also asked to produce correspondence between Bodog founder Calvin Ayre and all bank records and income tax verifications."
The suit has seen a lot of acrimony between Lewis and Ayre. Ayre has referred to 1st Technology as "patent trolls" in news releases and in return Lewis has claimed defamation.
