Chicago Bears at St. Louis Rams – Edward James Dome (Artificial)

The last time the Bears played on Monday night, they rallied in the fourth quarter to snatch a 24-23 win from the Arizona Cardinals. Unfortunately, that was of no help to bettors as they were pegged as 11½ point favorites by the Vegas books. This is not surprising as the Bears have a tendency to hibernate under the Monday night lights.

Consider the following:

The Bears are 3-12 ATS as a favorite on Monday night.

Chicago is 1-11-1 ATS on Monday nights following a SU win (they beat Minnesota 23-13 last week) when facing a non-divisional opponent on MNF.

Chicago is 2-5 ATS after a matchup with Minnesota.

They are also 3-11 ATS when visiting non-divisional opponents in December.

St. Louis is 7-1 ATS as a non-divisional home underdog.

The Rams are 20-5 ATS at home following a divisional matchup, which ironically was a 34-20 loss to the same Cards who covered vs. Chicago back in Week 6.

They are also 6-2 ATS in the second of back-to-back home games.

The Bears road record on turf shows 5 overs, 15 unders and 1 push.

St. Louis has posted 4 overs and 1 under in its past five Monday Night appearances.

WinnerOnline Opinion: No Tommie Harris, a possible QB controversy and a poor Monday night ATS record equals bad medicine for Da Bears. Take St. Louis to cover.
