James Packer’s crown casino is known for all the little tricks and gambles that it pulls in the industry, but it has recently hosted a wedding that actually reflects the grandeur of the fine establishment. Over the last week, Crown Casino was the venue for the most expensive wedding in the history of Australia. Brynne Gordon was asked to wed Dr. Geoffrey Edelsten, with the ceremony including 550 guests.

Edelsten, one of the richest men in Australia, produced a wedding list that included other wealthy men in Austrlia, sports stars and major television and movie stars. Well known actors Fran Drescher and Jason Alexander were brought in to host the wedding, with the gown to the bride worth over $500,000. The total bill of the wedding exceeded $3 million.
