Home poker games in the state of Ohio are completely legal, with the law stating that if the house does not take a rake or a cut, then the game is permitted to go on. Last week, a home poker game was raided by robbers who had found out about the big pot home game through internet forums.
Armed with assault rifles, the robbers entered the house and ordered all the players to empty all of their wallets. The robbers were able to make off with $11,000 and left after spraying all the card players with pepper spray. Cleveland has had it’s share of home game poker hold ups in the past year, a pervious poker game was robbed of over $75,000 in cash.
