After only a few weeks of opening, Resorts World Sentosa has already started to make headlines with the type of gamblers who are depositing at the resort. The executives of the casino have been sent out to attract high roller gamblers from all around Asia, with many multi millionaire Chinese flying down and staying at the resort. Singapore right now is competing with Macau as the main destination for Chinese tourists and their gambling dollar.

One particular Chinese man was reported to win more than Singapore $1.5 million dollars in one day. He played mostly baccarat and was accompanied by an attractive young woman at the tables. Helped by his lucky charm of a golden Buddha palm, and careful blasting of the dealer, he was able to walk away with a major pay day and will most likely be heavily targeted by casino executives to make another trip back to Singapore in the near future.
