Cherokee Nation Casinos Help Community 21st May 2010
The Cherokee Nation casinos have recently celebrated the opening of the Eucha Community Center located near Lake Eucha in Delaware County. The project has take a few years to complete and includes the work of Cherokee Nation Entertainment, Cherokee Nation Businesses, Cherokee Nation employees and many volunteers. Many of Cherokee Nation’s employees, volunteered their time to install 25-foot tin ceiling panels, cleaned up the construction areas and installed electrical wiring. The community center is set to host community events and will be a shelter for any residents who are in distress.
Cherokee Nation is also set to open it’s eight casino in Northeastern Oklahoma in the Ramona area. The casino is set to employ over 100 locals and include over 200 electronic games, cheap food and beverages and is set to be located off a major highway for easy access. The casino is situated halfway between Tulsa and Bartlesville.
